Take a virtual geological tour of the Illawarra Region, just a couple of hours’ drive south of Sydney. It’s a beautiful coastal area with a long history of timber cutting, grazing, coal mining, steel making and port infrastructure. It is also a tourist destination, with sandy beaches, steep escarpments, spectacular lookouts, and natural forests. On this ‘tour’ of the whole area you will appreciate some of the amazing geological highlights, and appreciate how Noah’s Flood, as documented in the Bible, explains the evidence and unravels its geological history.
